FATHER KNOWS BEST

Text: Proverb 3:1-12

FATHER’S COUNSEL

PAY ATTENTION

Do not forget my teachings

Keep my commands

THEN YOUR LIFE WILL BE LONGER AND MORE PEACEFUL

(Provers 3:1-2)

#1 BE HONEST AND KIND

Adorn your life with truthfulness and kindness

THEN YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION AND BE LIKED

BY GOD AND OTHERS (Proverbs 3:3-4)

#2 TRUST GOD’S DIRECTIONS

Don’t play games with God. Really trust Him.

Don’t rely on your own wisdom.

Acknowledge His wisdom and His right to direct your life.

THEN HE WILL ENSURE THAT YOUR LIFE HAS A POSITIVE DIRECTION (Proverbs 3:5-6)

#3 FEAR GOD & TURN FROM EVIL

You are not as smart as you may think you are!

God will always know more than you.

THEN YOUR BODY AND SOUL WILL BE REFRESHED

(Proverbs 3:7-8)

#4 HONOR GOD WITH YOUR MONEY

Give Him the first portion

THEN YOU WILL BE BLESSED AND TRUSTED WITH MORE

(Proverbs 3:9-10)

#5 DO NOT REJECT CORRECTION

Nobody likes to be disciplined.

But correction and discipline are an indication that

someone truly cares about you.

CORRECTION REVEALS HIS TRUE DELIGHT IN YOU

(Proverbs 3:11-12)

THE FATHER KNOWS BEST …

He is fully aware of everything you are facing,

and everything you will ever face.
