    Joy! It’s what’s good for you!

    Text: Proverbs 15:13,15, 23; 17:22; 21:15 The Sources of Joy It is a fruit of the Spirit “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” (Gal 5:22) It is a trait of Kingdom citizens “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Ro. 14:17) It is a byproduct of faith “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,” (Romans 15:13) It

    God’s Wisdom on Truth and Lies

    Text: Proverbs “Truthful lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only for a moment.” (Proverbs 12:19) LYING IS “willfully misrepresenting the truth” LYING is COMMUNICATION with the INTENT TO DECEIVE By the falsification of the facts – NOT simply a factual error that could be a simple mistake By the exaggeration or distortion of the truth - a distortion or exaggeration can be a lie if the intent is to manipulate the listeners perception of events or shape
