God Protects His Church (even from within)

Text: Acts 5:1-14 Protection from corrupting influences God struck and killed a couple from within the church who were lying to the Holy Spirit. Great fear came upon the Church Our sin is not a trifling matter God is zealous to protect the purity of His church Our holiness has a public impact The public did not dare associate with them, though they held them in high regard Multitudes of others believed, and were added to the church Christ also loved th

    Community: Acts 4:32-35

In our first online sermon since we have not been able to meet together in person, Pastor Kent Smith shares how the early church existed in COMMUNITY. We know these days are hard and no online service can take the place of meeting together in person. But our prayer is that you see the love of Jesus and show the love of Jesus to those around you. Lord willing, we will be back together soon. SERMON NOTES: COMMUNITY ESSENTIALS Text: Acts 4:3-35 UNITY You cannot have COMMUNITY wi

    Fear not, little flock

Many are fearful these days and for some that may justly come as a consequence of the way they have been living, when they know in their heart that their way has been sinful. But, for those who love and follow the Lord there is no need for fear. Whether in times of sickness or health, we are loved by God and He will see us through whatever we face. So, fear not, little flock.

    Here's something to think about...

The sermon today is quite pertinent to our present time, so don't miss it. Continuing in his series on the early church, Kent points out what the church did then when they were faced with difficult times. It should come as no surprise that what they did then is what we need to do now as we face our own uncertain and perhaps difficult times. Whether you realize it or not, there is spiritual warfare going on that only our God can bring us safely through. Today, March 15th, 2020

BEING HIS CHURCH - Church Activities

Text: Acts 2:41-47 The Passion of the People “They were continually devoting themselves” They had Religious Fervor and Ardent Dedication Footnotes: Contrast TODAY: Little fervor, excitement, anticipation. Little sense of passion about worship or learning. Church for many is a duty, a habit that many wish they could break and would if they could avoid the sense of guilt. The dedication to a church today is minimal. If you don’t like the music just go somewhere else. If you
