The Ministry of the Word and Prayer

          Recommend Solutions

Delegate other Ministries to Reputable and Responsible Servants

          Seek Congregational Approval

               Servants Selected

          The Leaders/Overseers/Pastors /Elders

Set aside the servants by laying on hands and prayer

The Result of Delegating Ministry

The word of God kept on spreading

The number of disciples continued to increase greatly

Many priests were becoming obedient to the faith

Being the Church today

      Pastors / Shepherds / Elders

Devoted to the ministry of Prayer

Devoted to the ministry of the Word

Chosen to provide oversight to the Church

      Delegated Servants / Deacons

Put in charge of other ministries

Particularly entrusted to make sure that no one falls

               through the cracks

Everybody is Somebody in God’s body

“The whole body, being fitted and held together by
what every joint supplies, according to the proper
working of each individual part, causes the growth

of the body for the building up of itself in love.” (Eph. 4:16)
