Text: 1 Chronicles 16:8-36


Remember

• Remember His deeds (v.12a)

• Remember His judgments and His words (v.12b)

• Remember His covenant promises (v.15ff)

Respect

• Glory in His Holy Name (v.10)

• Seek the Lord and His strength (v.11)

• He is the Lord our God (v.14)

• Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised (v.25a)

• He is to be feared above all gods (v.25b)

• Say “The Lord Reigns!” (v.31)

Respond

• Sing to the Lord all the earth (v.23a)

• Proclaim good tidings of His salvation (v.23b)

• Tell of His glory, His wonderful deeds (v.24)

• Bring an offering (v.29)

• Worship the Lord, tremble before Him (v. 29-30)

• Give thanks to Your holy Name (v.35)


Render

Be thankful. (Col 3:15)

Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God. (Col 3:17)

In everything give thanks, (1 Thess. 5:18)

• Always giving thanks for all things. (Eph 5:20)



Thankfulness /Thanksgiving is our duty before God
