Our Prayer…
Even in anguish and grief
Is made to the Father
Asking for what we desire
Then we surrender to the wisdom of His will
Footnotes:
Even in anguish and grief, He prayed
“He began to be very distressed and troubled".
(Mt. 26:37; Mk 14:33)
“My soul is deeply grieved to the point of death”
(Mt. 26:38; Mark 14:34)
“And being in agony He was praying very fervently.”
(Luke 22:44)
Likewise, our prayer is made to the father
your Father knows what you need before you ask Him
(Mt. 6:8)
your Father who is in heaven (will) give what is good
to those who ask Him! (Mt. 7:11)
