    • Earthquakes over 6.0 magnitude in 2023 25

  • Wars

    • More than 10,000 casualties per year 20

    • Conflicts: between 1,000 and 9,999 dead per year 22

We are in difficult days, but not so difficult as what Jesus has said is coming.

A child dies from hunger every 10 seconds

Poor nutrition and hunger is responsible for the death of 3.1 million children a year. That’s nearly half of all deaths in children under the age of 5. The children die because their bodies lack basic nutrients.

Globally, 822 million people suffer from undernourishment. (2018)

113 million are in acute hunger every day. Receiving insufficient nourishment to sustain life in the long term.

Why seek to know what is coming?

  • To avoid the worst outcomes.

  • To maximize the chance of survival.

  • To make the most of our opportunities.

Matt 24: 1-3

Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. 2 And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.” 3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Do not be Misled

Wishful Desires Prophetic words of Jesus

  • To be spared. * There will be open warfare.

  • To be secure. * There will be earthquakes.

  • To have my needs met. * There will be famines.

  • To be vindicated. * You will be arrested and mistreated

  • To have my family safe. * Families will betray one another.

  • To be victorious * You will be hated by all.

  • To escape great harm. * You will need to endure.

Matthew 24: 4-14

And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many people. 6 And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.9 “Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people. 12 And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

God shows us mercy, we will not be judged, we have passed from death to life (John 5:24 / Romans 9:16

John 10:28 - 30 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.

Matthew 6:31 - 33 Do not worry them, saying ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these tings. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith.

Psalm 68:20 God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.

So what is going to happen?

Things are going to get worse at some point, but God wins, and we belong to Him!

So what should we do?

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6 - 7)
