THE CHURCH’S MANDATE

There are many things we can do,

But… What MUST we do?

Glorify God

Meet Together

Love One another

Encourage one another

Teach one another

Strengthen one another

Discipline one another

Make Disciples

My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

THE DISCIPLE’S PERSONA

(Romans 6)

Baptized into death with Christ (6:3)

Buried with Christ. (6:4)

Freed from sin (6:7)

Dead to sin and alive to Christ (6:11)

Baptized into death with Christ. (6:3) Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;

Buried with Christ. (6:4) (through baptism)

No longer a slave to sin (6:6) we have died with Christ

Freed from sin. (6:7) The penalty and power of sin.

THE DISCIPLE’S PRACTICES

Continue in His word (8:31)

Love on another (13:35)

Bear much fruit (15:8)

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;

John 13:35

By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 15:8

My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Multiply the heritage of Jesus Christ

“Go and make disciples”

Baptizing & Teaching Obedience

For God’s vision for our church

That we would have ears to hear, a heart to obey, and the faith and courage to act.
