The Seed

Grow Roots

Survive

Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. Matthew 13:5-8

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 1 Corinthians 6-7

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2

Thrive

And others fell on the good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundred- fold, some sixty, and some thirty. Matthew 13:8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. John 15:8

A Coming Harvest

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a seed falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:24
