You Can Make a Difference
Each week at River Hills people just like you give their time to serve. Whether it’s helping kids learn about Jesus on their level, greeting first-time guests, or pitching in behind the scenes, every volunteer is making a difference!
We know you’re busy, and a million things are competing for your time. But we also know you’ll meet new friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus when you start serving.
We have five broad areas of service and there’s a serving opportunity that suits your personality and availability. Take a look at a few of our ministries, and sign up to get more information!
Behind the Scenes
Not everyone likes being in front. This area is a great place to use your gifts to take care of needs that are incredibly vital, but don't require you to be in front of people. Some examples are: Tech Team, Prayer Team, Creative Team, and the Building Prep Team.
Hospitality
Are you great at making people feel at home? Never met a stranger? Then join the Hospitality team and help people meet the family they did not even know they had! Some examples are: Greeters, Guest Follow Up, and the Kitchen Crew.
Children and Students
We love investing in the next generation. So if you love kids and building relationships with the future of the church, then the Children and Student Team is for you! Some examples are: Nursery and Preschool, Sunday Morning Children’s Service, Wednesday Night.
Upfront
Do you have a passion for leading, teaching, and serving people? Does the idea of using your talents in front of others make you excited? The Upfront Team helps motivate and encourage many areas of ministry in our church. Some examples are: Discipleship Teachers and Assistants, Ministry Leaders, and the Band and Worship Team.
Outreach
Do you love making new relationships? Do you love people and all the ups and downs of life? Do you desire to show others how great Jesus is? The Outreach Team is all about reaching out and making new connections. Some examples are: Celebrate Recovery, Small Group Leaders and Hosts and planning different mission trips.
